History

This Andrews Park has a rich history. It was first built in 1901 by James Andrews and his wife Mary Andrews as part of their farm to provide entertainment for family members who were staying on the ranch with them. In 1906, it became its own separate entity from the Andrews Farm after Andrew's death until 1913 when John Davis purchased Andrews Ranch and began leasing land back from Mrs. Andrews who had been left everything from her late husband's will. Fortunately she kept a piece of property which is now known as Andrews park open at all times so people could enjoy this beautiful place forever more! The park would eventually be bought up by Mr Adams who gave it to Vacaville sometime around 1927-1928 where he also donated other parks such as the Andrews Drive-In Theater. The park has been loved by Vacaville ever since!

Andrews Park also offers picnic areas for rent as well as special events including concerts throughout the season until early fall where it closes down for winter months before opening up again in spring time which makes it an off-season destination that brings in people year round. Andrews Park is truly a delight for Vacaville locals and visitors alike, don't miss out on this great opportunity to see it yourself!

Directions: Andrews park is located off of Peabody Road in the city of Vacaville. It's easily accessible from all over Vacaville and beyond by car or bike!

Once arriving at Andrews Park, drive down roads that are either paved or gravel depending on how old they are to get around this beautiful place best for your specific liking. Parking is available free onsite with ample space so don't worry about finding a spot to save yourself some time while you're visiting this amazing attraction.

Take Exit 128A Washington Blvd East/US-50 E toward Fairfield onto I-80 W (Portions toll). Take the Copeland Rd exit, Exit 120B, toward Vacaville. Turn right onto E Monte Vista Ave/Copeland Rd. Andrews Park is located at Andrews Drive and Peabody Road in the city of Vacaville CA 95688
